Multi Driver
⯀ Multi-driver using iButton Reader & Key
In an establishment where there are multiple drivers using a single vehicle, it becomes extremely difficult to identify which driver used which vehicle, when and how long. The problem aggravates when there is parking or speeding fine. Informap provides a unique solution to do multi-driver management based using iButton Reader or RFID technology.
The iButton with its 1-Wire Interface offers a very economical solution that comprises of an iButton Reader that is fixed on the dashboard. All drivers are provided with an iButton Key fob. Drivers or passengers can simply tap their iButton key fob on the iButton reader. The Reader transmits the driver ID who is using the vehicle or the tapped passengers on board. The iButton key is durable, small and portable enough to attach to a key fob, ring, watch, or other personal items.
Upon tapping the iButton key fob to the reader, the LED light indicates a successful read and all activity while logged in is attached to the logged driver.

⯀ Multi-driver using RFID Reader & RFID Card
If your establishment allows any driver to use any vehicle or wanted a passenger attendance and tracking system, the RFID-based solution is suitable.
If it is for multi-driver management, RFID reader can be pre-loaded into the RFID reader and connected to Ignition kill system. So, only an authorized pre-defined driver can turn on the ignition. This method is ideal for companies to effectively manage the usage control of the vehicle.
However, for emergency vehicles such as ambulances, RFID with Ignition kill is not recommended. Instead, the ignition kill is replaced with the buzzer that will allow the driver to start the vehicle, but the prompt driver from swiping the RFID card and alert can be set in the event of not swiping the RFID card in 5 or 10 minutes.
RFID can also be effectively deployed for worker attendance management system or staff attendance system or school student attendance system. RFID card-based attendance report can be generated that will show pick up and drop off location and parental alerts can be set should any exception is detected.
Temperature
Monitoring Cooling Unit Temperature & Humidity
GPS Tracking unit is connected to industry grade temperature sensors in the cooling unit. If the cooling compartment is longer, 2 sensors are installed to measure temperature in the blower side and in the middle. The application is programmed to send Email/SMS alerts if there is variation from the set temperature lower and upper range.

Towing bed
Door Sensor, Towing Vehicle Bed
Companies that provide towing and vehicle recovery services can deploy Bed Sensors connected to Informap GPS Tracker. The bed sensors transmit Digital Input data that determine location and time when a Bed goes up and down. This will help companies find out the number of jobs a particular recovery vehicle has carried out.
- Alert every time when a bed becomes operational
- Trip Distance of each job
- Activity report showing the Location and time operational time log
Tractor - Trailer
Tractor Trailer Tracking
GPS tracking unit is installed in the tractor and a specialized ID tag is installed in the trailer. Both are connected through hard wire connection in such a way that the Tractor GPS unit is able to receive the trailer’s TAG ID when it remains connected. Application displays which trailer is connected to the tractor and allows generating trailer usage reports.
